Doron M. Tisser, OF COUNSEL
Doron M. Tisser is Of Counsel to me and has agreed to take over my practice at my death, disability or retirement. However, I enjoy what I do and I have no plans to retire, even though Doron is now working with me concerning certain of my estate planning, probate, tax and general business clients.
Doron received his J.D. Cum Laude from Southwestern University School of Law in February 1997. He graduated in the top one percent of his class. Doron received his LL.M. in taxation from the New York University School of Law in June 1982.
Doron specializes in estate planning, including preparation of Wills and living trusts; life insurance, dynasty and other irrevocable trusts; probate; charitable giving; estate and gift tax returns; family partnerships; and family business planning, including buy-sell agreements. Additionally, Doron has expertise in individual and corporate federal tax planning; S corporation, partnership and real estate taxation; tax-free exchanges; tax-exempt entities; and state and local taxation.
Doron is a certified specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization in Taxation Law and in Probate, Estate Planning and Trust Law.
Doron has given lectures on various aspects of his specialties before various professional organizations, including various chapters of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, various life insurance professional organizations, California Continue Education of the Bar programs, various meetings of Estate and Tax and Estate Planning Councils, the tax section of the California State Bar and other professional organizations. Additionally, Doron has written articles concerning estate planning and taxation which were published in various professional publications for lawyers. Also, Doron is a member of sections of the American Bar Association, the California State Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association.
